      NOTE: Required for all Latin American Studies majors their senior year.

      Course Outcomes


  9. Complete 3 hours of an internship course, a service learning course, or Study Abroad program course.
    1. Internship students (field study or service learning) will register for IAS 399R.
    2. Study Abroad programs shall be in a Latin American venue, either Portuguese speaking or Spanish speaking; students must enroll in a 3.0 credit hour international or cross-cultural course during their program (e.g. IAS 380R).

    Note: The hours used for this requirement cannot double count for requirement 7 and 9.
